What Comes Next? Red Green Show

7 apples in a row. First, a big red one. Next, a small green one. Then a big red one. Next, a small green one. Then a big red one. Next, a small green one. Last, a big red one.
  1. What patterns do you see?
  2. What would come next? And next after that? Can you tell, or make a drawing to show?
  3. What can you do with your hands to make the same kind of pattern? What about your arms or your whole body? Show someone in your family and see whether they can copy you. Then have them do something different for you to copy.
  4. Make the same kind of pattern with toys, or shoes, or food.
  5. Tell someone in your family about your pattern, and ask them what comes next!
