Look at this set of four pictures. Decide which one doesn’t belong with the other three. Use math words to describe your thinking. There are many ways to think about each one!

A. shows a 10-frame with 4 yellow butterflies in the top row. The bottom row has 2 black and 2 yellow butterflies. B. shows a 10-frame filled with yellow butterflies. C. shows 3 yellow butterflies and 7 black butterflies. D. shows a 10-frame with 5 black butterflies in the top row. The bottom row has 5 yellow butterflies.
