Which One Doesn’t Belong? Seeing Shapes

Look at this set of four pictures. Decide which one doesn’t belong with the other three. Use math words to describe your thinking. There are many ways to think about each one!

A. shows a 4-sided polygon with no right angles. 2 sides are parallel. B. shows a 4-sided polygon with 1 right angle. No sides are parallel. C. shows a figure with 2 right angles and 2 parallel sides. The figure is not closed. D. shows a figure with 6 sides. All angles are right angles.
