What Comes Next? Snow Clothes

First, a pair of mittens with stripes. Next, a solid green winter hat. Then a pair of mittens with stripes. Last, a solid green winter hat.
  1. What patterns do you see?
  2. What would come next? And next after that? Can you tell, or make a drawing to show the next items in the pattern?
  3. What kind of pattern is this? What can you do with your body to make the same pattern? Show someone in your family and see whether they can copy you. Then have them do something different for you to copy.
  4. Make the same kind of pattern with clothes, food, toys, or drawings.
  5. Tell someone in your family about your pattern and ask them what comes next!
