What Comes Next? Geoboards

What do you notice? What do you wonder? What comes next?

First, a geoboard grid with a square 1-fourth unit by 1-fourth unit. 1-fourth times 1-fourth = blank square unit. Next, a geoboard grid with a 1-fourth unit by 1-half unit rectangle. 1-fourth times 1-half = blank square unit. Then, a geoboard grid with a square 1-half unit by 1-half unit. 1-half times 1-half = blank square unit. Last, a geoboard grid with a 1-half unit by 3-fourths unit rectangle. 1-half times 3-fourths = blank square unit.
For this exercise, the geoboard grid is 1 square unit.
