Today's Number: 9 Bears
What is today’s number? How many bears do you see?
Can you count up to 9? Can you count back down to 0?
How many pairs of purple bears do you see?
Look around your home. Can you find or make sets of 9?
Here are some ideas:
- Line up 9 toys or objects. Can you line them up in a pattern like the bears?
- Take one away from the line and count backward. Continue taking one away and counting backward, until you have no more toys left.
- Can you write one number for each item in your set?
