Look at this set of four pictures. Decide which one doesn’t belong with the other three. Use math words to describe your thinking. There are many ways to think about each one!

A: A wide rectangle is divided into 3 equal parts with horizontal lines. The bottom part is blue. B: A square is divided into 4 equal parts with horizontal lines. The top part is green. C: A square is divided into 3 parts with horizontal lines. The top and bottom parts are the same size and are purple. The middle part is larger than the other parts. D: A square is divided into 3 equal parts with vertical lines. The middle part is orange.
