Look at this set of four multiplication problems. Decide which one doesn’t belong with the other three. Use math words to describe your thinking. There are many ways to think about each one!

The final product is splat, splat splat splat. B. This equation uses the expanded form. 80 times splat splat = 3,200. 80 times 3 = splat splat splat. Splat times 40 = 200. 5 times 3 = 15. These equations equal splat splat times 43 = splat splat 5 5. C. 342 times 2 splat. The first partial product is 1 splat 1 0. The second partial product is 6, 8 splat splat.
