Which One Doesn't Belong? Red Birds, Red Birds in a Tree

Look at this set of four pictures. Decide which one doesn’t belong with the other three. Describe your thinking using math words. There are many ways to think about each one! 

A: 2 large birds and 5 small birds sit on a branch. B: 4 small birds sit on a branch; 2 larges birds and 1 small bird sit on the ground. C: 2 large birds sit on a branch; 5 small birds sit on the ground. D: 2 large birds and 3 small birds sit on a branch; 3 small birds sit on the ground. All the birds are cardinals.
